Media Public Free Zone
- Established in 2000 as a public Free Zone with a special nature, focused on the artistic and media production activities along with the relevant productive and services activities.
- Stretched out on a 3 million m2 area, the Media Public Free Zone is considered as a district outside the customs territory of the country.
- Managed by GAFI, It is the first area in Egypt where the private sector owns most of the land.

- Radio, television and satellite broadcasting.
- Producing radio, television, cinema programs along with media and artistic production.
- Producing, manufacturing and assembling materials and equipment necessary for the media activities.
- Offering, advertising, informative media and public relations services.
- Organizing exhibitions for local and international companies specialized in media products and communication equipment.
- Hotels, tourist facilities, and shopping centers submitting services to the free zone.
